Stonephish is a browser extension that inspects links, senders and payment requests in messages you open and reports what it finds. It is provided as a tool to inform your decisions.
Scam techniques change constantly. Stonephish cannot detect every fraudulent message, and it may sometimes flag a legitimate one. A "Verified" result means the checks we run found nothing wrong and the sending address matched the name — not that a message is guaranteed safe or that any transaction is legitimate.
You remain responsible for your own decisions about which links to open, whom to reply to, and where to send money or personal information. Stonephish is not a substitute for caution, antivirus software, or professional security advice.

When you ask Stonephish to unsubscribe you from mailing lists, it opens the unsubscribe pages those senders provide and attempts to complete them on your behalf. Whether an unsubscribe actually takes effect is up to the sender, not us. Stonephish reports what it can confirm and tells you plainly when it cannot.
Paid plans are billed in advance for the period selected. You may cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If Stonephish does not work as described for you, contact us within 30 days of purchase and we will refund it.
Features may change, and parts of the service may be unavailable at times. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
Stonephish is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, Stonephish — including losses from a scam it did not detect. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
